What is Topping Salt?
Topping salt is food grade sodium chloride, screened and compacted flat to provide strong adhesion.
It’s often a coarse or flaky salt with a larger grain size compared to regular table salt.
Examples of topping salts include sea salt flakes, Himalayan pink salt, Maldon salt, and fleur de sel.
