Formulation

Lemon juice concentrate is formulated by extracting the lemon juice from fresh lemons and then filtered to remove any pulp, seeds, or solids. Afterwards, a significant portion of the water content is removed, leaving processors with a concentrated form of lemon juice. It is used in food and beverage formulations to add a citrus flavoring.

Appearance: Translucent to slightly opaque liquid, sometimes a pale yellow. The concentrate is relatively thick in consistency and contains a sour taste with a lemony aroma.
