What is Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate?
Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate (TSPP) is used as a buffering and thickening agent, as well as an emulsifier in the food industry.
It helps to mix ingredients that would otherwise separate, such as oil and water in salad dressings or sauces.
TSPP is created when disodium phosphate is heated to 450 °C.
